Baboop are Crosin and Nardino. These guys from Madrid started to be interested in electronic music about the mid-90s, from the club sound to the most experimental and avant-grade styles. They have been together for their whole life, sharing a great friendship and their passion for music and technology. They find in each other the same curiosities and interests. This way, more than a decade ago, they started creating their own sounds.

In summer 2007, together with Luis Junior, they began to work in the resumption of Abysoma, moving to their new self-designed studio in the centre of Madrid. Baboop, in their eagerness of researching the new textures and nuances, take advantage of their degree in Engineering in Sound and IT. They experiment with the new forms of the sound creating their own audio plugins, giving birth to a personal sound in which the quality of their productions is the priority.

Live, their ability of improvising makes them play and transform their tracks on the fly so much so that they mix them, creating new bases and sequences they use in their new productions. But Baboop has an experimental side as well. They create ambient, electronic and idm sounds. These sounds have leaded them, sometimes, to the most specialized clubs in Madrid.

From the end of 2008, Baboop collaborate in the radio program “mooseekaa”, in which they take part in one of the sections presenting the news they consider the most interesting in the electronic scene.
